Under Section 12 (1) (b) of the Right to Free and Compulsory Child Education Act, a timetable has been issued by the state government for admission to private schools for the year 2021-22. In the first phase, school registration for admission under the said Act will be done by the District Education Officer till 20 February. After this, students’ applications will be taken from 15 March to 15 April. The students’ registration date will be extended till 30 April.
The scrutiny of the documents by the nodal officers will take place from May 1 to May 15, 2021, the first lottery and allocation from May 17 to May 19 and the school admission process from May 20 to June 5, 2021. In the second phase, registration of students will take place from May 20 to June 10. The documents will be examined by the nodal officers from June 11 to June 25 and final lottery and allocation from June 28 to June 30. Students will be given school admission till 15 July 2021. For this, directions have been given to the officials concerned. If any disturbance is found, action will be taken against the concerned.
