The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has made it clear on Wednesday that SSC (Class X) and HSC (Class XII) examinations will be conducted only through offline. This year, about 35 lakh students will appear in these examinations, due to such a large number of students, it is not possible to conduct online examination. Therefore, we have decided to conduct examinations only through offline, State Board Chairman Dinkar Patil said on Wednesday.
He said, there is a continuous demand for extending the dates of these examinations in the state. At the same time, many people are also demanding to get both these examinations in online mode, but now when there is less than two months left in the examinations. In such a situation, there is no justification for extending the dates of examinations further. We have declared the time table of the examinations and these will be conducted through offline on the scheduled dates. Students are advised not to waste their time on the issue of ‘how the examinations will be conducted’. Focus your attention only on exam preparation. In future, if the cases of corona infection increase in the state, then we will take appropriate decision after reviewing the conditions.
Let us know that recently the State Board of Education had declared the time table of both the above SSC and HSC board examinations. The tenth board exams will be held from 29 April to 20 May 2021, while the board exams for the twelfth will be held from 23 April to 21 May 2021.
