
The process of application for admission to private schools under the Right to Free Education Act (RTE) will begin on Tuesday, March 2. Basic Education Department has released the program of admission. For the first time, the application process will be completely online even from rural areas. Online applications will be accepted in three phases. In the first phase, applications can be made from March 2 to March 25 (RTE dot UPSDC dot gov dot in).
Under the Right to Education Act (RTE), 25 per cent seats have been reserved in schools for children belonging to economically weaker sections from class one to eighth. Under this, the fees of children seeking admission are refunded by the government to the school management as fee reimbursement. At the same time, the money for the copy book is transferred to the parents’ account. The new season is going to start. For this, the work of mapping of schools is being completed rapidly. After this, the details of school-wise reserved seats will be released on the website. Till last year, online application has been accepted in RTE schools for the admission of RTE. At the same time, applications for rural areas were accepted offline, but this time the government has implemented the system of online application for everyone.
Explain that in the last session, 423 children were admitted to private schools under RTE.
This is how the application process will run
The first phase of application for admission in session 2021-22 will be from March 2 to 25. Verification of applications will be done from 26 to 28 March. The lottery will be taken out on 30 March and the selected children will be admitted to private schools by 5 April. The second phase of the application process will be from April 1 to 23. Verification of applications from 24 to 26 April, lottery on 28 April and selected children will have to be admitted by 5 May. The application process for admission in the third and final phase will be from 29 April to 10 June. Verification of applications from 11 to 13 June, There will be a lottery on June 15 and children will be admitted by June 30. District Coordinator Integrated Education Rakesh Patel said that this time parents of urban and rural areas will have to apply online. Applicant has to apply for his ward and gram panchayat schools. If there is no school here, one can apply in schools within a radius of one to three kilometers.
This is the eligibility
– SC, ST, OBC and differently abled children, children of BPL card holders, children of widow pension recipients
– guardians below the income of one lakh rupees can apply in the debilitated category.
