State Executive Member of Uttar Pradesh Secondary Teachers Association, Dr. Sushil Pundir described the Uttar Pradesh Education Services Tribunal Act as a death warrant for teachers. He was addressing a meeting of the organization organized on Wednesday at the residence of District President Dr. Sadaram.
Pundir said that the organization would strongly oppose the act. He said that after the enactment of the Act, it would be impossible for teachers and staff to get justice in educational institutions. State Executive Member Anil Sharma and District President Dr. Sadaram have passed more than six months for the appointment of new teachers, but have not yet verified the educational certificates. Due to this, teachers are not getting salary. He said that the money being deducted from the salary of teachers under the new pension scheme is not showing in the accounts, which are not good signs. After the deduction of GPF of teachers, GPF registers of teachers have not been checked in the accounting department. District Minister Ravi Gupta expressed concern over the delay in getting female teachers maternity leave and child care leave.
