There has been a case of negligence in distribution of confidential material and answer books. The Principals of all 130 examination centers attended 10th and 12th grade question papers at the Coordinating Center. While 29 schools did not take the answerbook. So far, the coordinator has been kept in the center. Its security has become a major challenge. The Center has handed over the list of schools to the District Education Department. On April 12, these schools have been given the last chance to lift.
Sunday was the last day to distribute answerbooks and confidential material on the instructions of the Madhyamik Shiksha Mandal Raipur. The distribution started at 10.30 am at Gandhi Chowk, the district coordinator’s central government multipurpose higher secondary school. On the first day, principals and teachers arrived from 67 schools in rural areas to take a question paper. The distribution was completed to 63 schools in the urban area on Sunday.
Meanwhile, it was revealed that 29 schools have not yet taken the answerbook. The coordinating center, Dr. RK Gauraha, immediately handed over the list to the district education department. After this, by 5 pm on April 12, these schools have been given the last chance to lift. If not reached, action will be taken as per rules. Significantly, the board has postponed the 10th examination to be held from April 15 till the next order. Whereas from May 3 to May 24, class 12th examination is scheduled. The exam is to be held from nine in the morning to 12:15 in the afternoon
A day before during distribution, there was tremendous negligence at the Coordinating Center. There was neither a handwashing arrangement at the gate nor sanitized. Boxes and other boxes containing question papers were also kept here and there. At the counter, there was a crowd of officers together, under the tree, there was a chaupal of teachers. While the situation was completely opposite. Masks and physical distance were seen in everyone’s mouth.
After the delivery of the confidential material, the teachers have sealed it directly in the strong room of the police station near the area. It will now be opened only after the board’s order. 33218 candidates are registered in class 10 and 17653 candidates in class XII. 421 schools have been made examination centers in the district.
Confidential material has been distributed. 29 schools have not yet taken the answerbook. The last chance is given on Monday.
