CBSE has changed the syllabus and exam pattern for 2021-22 session. This change is being done in view of the slow learning process under the online study of students, because schools were closed last year due to Kovid-19 and now once again schools are closed. In such a situation, the board started making changes in the pattern due to online classes not being able to be economical for the students.
At present, this decision of the board has been applied to the recently started session, that is, it will not be applicable for the next year’s session. If the situation does not improve, then this decision can be continued even further.
According to the new pattern, now 20 percent objective and 20 percent competency questions have been included so that students do not have too much tension of studies and they should not take the stress of studies while at home. The board will have 30 percent competency based questions for students of class 9th and 10th, i.e., these questions can be in any type along with multiple choice. Similarly, the board has included 20 percent objective questions as per the new pattern, while 50 percent questions will be of short and long answer. Earlier, there were questions of 20 per cent objective and multiple choice including short and longancer of 70 per cent.
