District Basic Education Officer Hemant Rao said that instructions have been issued on behalf of Additional Chief Secretary Renuka Kumar that now all the council, aided, recognized schools from class one to eight should be closed earlier by April 11. There were instructions. As per the new order, schools from class one to eight have been closed till April 30. Teachers and other staff will keep going to school. There are about four thousand council schools in the district, in which about five lakh children are enrolled. They will have to study from home right now. Online teaching materials will be sent.
Here, DIOS VK Dubey said that instructions have also been issued to close schools from class nine to 12th by April 30. There are close to 630 secondary schools in the district. Teachers and staff have been made mandatory to come here.
