The CBSE board examinations were to begin on May 4. The board had canceled the examinations of class 10 in view of the corona infection and announced the release of results on the basis of assessment. To prepare the result, the CBSE board has sought details of students from schools. Most schools have sent data boards based on pre board examinations. Schools have started provisional admissions to maintain the involvement of students who have passed 10th standard. The same process is going on in ICSE board schools.
Nitin Williams, Principal of Blue Bells Public School, says that due to Corona, online studies have been going on for a year. Now there is no 10th exam. In such a situation, online classes of 11th are going to start from May 3 to ensure that the students do not remain vacant. Choices have been sought from students on the basis of topics. This will also not make the session
backward.
Akash Atri, director of The Aryans School, says that the provisional admissions of 11th have started. Attempts are to be made to start online classes by 15 May. Deepak Rai, director of Alpine Public Schools, says that he is planning to start online classes of 11th. Data of class 10 students have been sent to the board. CBSE District Coordinator Preeti Khatri says that information has been sought from the schools about the board’s instructions in this regard. No instructions have come from the board in this regard.
