Explain that School Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad has said that the Maharashtra government has proposed free education for children up to class 12, who have lost their parents due to Kovid. A proposal was given to the Chief Minister of Maharashtra in which the Department of Higher and Technical Education would bear the full expenses of the education of children up to class 12.

Kerala government will give 2 thousand rupees every month to orphans from Corona .
Earlier, the Kerala government had made a similar announcement. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan had said that the government has announced a special package of Rs 3 lakh as immediate relief and a monthly assistance of Rs 2,000 to the orphaned children due to Kovid. The Chief Minister also said that the government will bear the expenses of education till the graduation of orphaned children due to Kovid.
Students will be provided a monthly assistance of Rs 2,000 till they attain the age of 18 years. The governments of Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand have already announced financial assistance and free education for children orphaned by Covid.
