Education Department of Rajasthan has released important information about Kovid-19 of teachers being engaged by the government.
The Education Department has stated in its notice that the provision of an additional amount of Rs 50 lakh was made last year in addition to the ex-gratia amount payable in the pension rules to the state employees on death due to infection during duty related to Kovid-19 by the government.
A letter has been written to all the District Collectors to prepare an early proposal for this amount from the district level and send it to the Directorate, so that the families of the victims will get immediate relief.
This will bring more clarity regarding the eligibility of the teachers / personnel working in the education department in the said scheme and also increase awareness about the scheme among the teachers and employees of the department.
