The restructuring of the education blocks of the School Education Department has been approved. Under this, blocks of 27 primary schools have been replaced. The Education Minister of Punjab has instructed to change the service records of teachers into new blocks. Also, the teachers have been asked to update their records on the e-portal.
In order to make the functioning of the schools run smoothly, Punjab School Education Minister Vijay Inder Singla has approved to change the blocks of 27 primary schools. On Thursday, a spokesperson of the school education department said that the blocks of seven schools in Fatehgarh district, seven in Bathinda, two in Ferozepur, five in Fazilka, two in Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, one in Muktsar and three in Patiala district have been replaced.
This decision has been taken to reduce the difficulties of block primary education officers and teachers so that they do not face any difficulty during their work. Instructions have been given to immediately change the service records of teachers of schools whose blocks have been changed to new blocks. Along with this, instructions have also been given to make this record updated on the e-Punjab portal.
