Like every year, the new education session is going to start from June 16 this year. However, due to Corona, children are not being called to school right now, claiming to teach at home online or through mohalla classes. In such a situation, the Education Department is once again lagging behind in delivering books to children on time. Alam is that so far the publication of books is also half-incomplete and books have not reached any district.
The department’s plan of action for reaching the book to more than 50 lakh children from the first to the 10th standard is seen to be slack. Likewise, even if the school is not able to be set up, there may be a delay in getting the children a uniform on time.
Delay in printing the book, the corporation said – cover paper came late
Dr. Shailesh Nitin Trivedi, President of Textbook Corporation, said that we are completing the work of printing. The cover paper has come late. Lockdown is on. Transportation has also been delayed. However, he claims that all books will arrive by the end of June. Apart from this, Chhattisgarh textbooks are also updating the corporation’s website at www.tbc.cg.nic.in.
Today will be decided for virtual school
Here, Chhattisgarh Virtual School is being established under Chhattisgarh State Open School. Admission to the virtual school will begin in June for the academic session 2021-22. Dr. Alok Shukla, president of the Open School, said that a meeting has been held on Saturday for the virtual school. Virtual school portal is being constructed by NIC which will be available in virtualschool.cg.nic.in.
In this portal, students can take admission in any course according to their wish, as per eligibility. Subject wise learning videos, study materials, assignments, quizzes etc. will be available in this portal which students can watch from anywhere through internet. The student will also have the facility to ask questions and discuss doubts with his / her chosen mentor. The virtual school syllabus has been prepared by cutting the syllabus of Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education by about 30 percent.
