In an online presentation at Shyam Lal Inter College, 57 battalion NCC command officer Colonel Manoj Kumar shared information about the new education policy 2020 NCC optional subject from NCC officer. He informed that under the new education policy, the special secretary of the state government, Udaybhan Tripathi, now students of degree colleges and secondary schools will now be able to take NCC as an additional subject. Its approval has already been given by UGC and AICTE. Students of the state will get the opportunity to study NCC as a subject in graduation, classes 9 and 11.
Three online presentations from NCC Group Headquarters Kanpur are being organized for all NCC officers so that the students of the state can get information about it. NCC students will now get credit from the academy for not only a C certificate but also for proper training. This will provide additional benefit to the cadets in employment promotion schemes. According to the UGC guidelines in NCC course, after completing the course for six semesters, you will get 24 credit points. In the National Education Policy 2020, students will get a chance to choose the subject of their choice along with the subjects offered by the institutes.
Command Officer Colonel Manoj Kumar said that for the expansion of NCC in 57 battalions, more cadets in NCC will get an opportunity under the FSFS (Fully Self Finance Scheme) system in the city’s schools and colleges. In the online presentation, SM Subedar Major Lilaram, Lt Santosh Kumar Tiwari, Lt Ravi Ranjan, Lt Subhash, Officer Kuldeep, Officer AP. Katihar, caretaker Amit Awasthi, Anand Shekhar Dwivedi joined.
