Atal Bihari Vajpayee University’s undergraduate, postgraduate and diploma final year examinations began on Tuesday. Question paper of 38 subject code was uploaded on the website at 6 am. Candidates can download and solve the paper at their homes as per their convenience. Everyone seemed satisfied with the arrangement of the examination department.
In addition to the website, question papers were sent to about 60 thousand students studying in the colleges of Mungeli, Janjgir-Champa, Korba and Raigad districts including Bilaspur on their user id and e-mail. Students who faced any kind of problem were also made available through WhatsApp. Students of BA, BCom, BSc, BSc Home Science, BCA final year and MA, MSc Previous and Swadhyayi had to solve the paper.
Examination in-charge Pradeep Singh said that the helpline number was also issued so that the students do not face any kind of problem. Calls were received from 7 am to 8 pm. The problem of about 74 children was resolved immediately. No one complained about the website. The students were clearly told that this time they would not be able to apply for RTI, re-evaluation or re-calculation.
Meritorious students got angry
Many students are angry about the examination system. He says that this method is encouraging copying. Students without hard work are solving the paper easily. There is fraud in the name of open book. However, the officials told it to be conducted according to the guide-line of the UGC and Higher Education Department, citing the situation arising in the midst of the Corona epidemic. The exam will also be held on June 2.
If written by another then copying case
The examination department had made it clear that the answer book should not be printed or written by someone else’s hand. Candidates will have to write their own. If any complaint is received and the handwriting is found changed in the investigation, then it will be considered as a copying case as per the unfair means use rule in the examination.
UG-PG and Diploma final year examination has started. Not a single complaint has been received regarding the online system. The children easily downloaded the question paper through the portal.
