Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray said that schools and colleges can be considered for reopening in villages and towns where no new cases of corona virus have been reported for a long time and where there is no possibility of new infection. Students can start attending schools and colleges and attend classes as before the pandemic, the state government said in a statement.
The CM also directed officials of the education department to assess such villages and towns where schools and colleges can be allowed to resume.
