District Magistrate Rakesh Kumar Singh has told that it has been decided by the Basic Education Department to make the academic session as the year of education quality upgradation. Under Operation Kayakalp, a large scale infrastructure work has been done in the schools of rural areas with the amount of maintenance received in the village fund of Gram Panchayats. This has created a better educational environment. Under this, provision of separate toilets and urinals for the students according to their number, facility of clean drinking water and multiple handwashing system and drainage work, major repairs to the floor, walls, ceilings and doors of the school.
To get the work done, tile work, electrification, renovation and beautification of kitchen shed, furniture, boundary wall and gate construction work has been done.
Section 144 extended till July 25
In order to maintain public order, to comply with the government instructions issued in the context of Kovid-19 and in view of the various examinations to be held in the near future in the district and the possibility of affecting law and peace and communal harmony in view of Eiduzha (Bakrid). District Magistrate Rakesh Kumar has imposed prohibitory orders in the district till July 25.
