If the number of students in self-finance (self-financial) courses in the colleges of the state is less last year, then admission will not be given in that course in this session. The Higher Education Department has issued guidelines regarding the admission process in the upcoming session 2021-22 in 1450 private and government colleges of the state. The department is now preparing to crack down on colleges running self finance courses. The department has fixed the scope of admission number in these courses. It has been ordered in the guideline that if there are less than 25 students in any course or subject group in undergraduate (UG), then such course should be closed. At the same time, admission will not be given if there are less than 10 students in any course in Post Graduate (PG). Due to this rule, more than 60 self finance courses running in many colleges of the capital Bhopal can be closed.
