Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan met Delhi Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister Manish Sisodia on Sunday morning. The two ministers discussed how to modernize and upgrade the country’s education sector.
Union Education Minister Pradhan shared a picture of his meeting with Sisodia on Twitter and tweeted, “Glad to meet Manish Sisodia, Deputy CM and Education Minister, Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi. We had valuable discussions on building quality education system in the country, capacity building of teachers, creating future leaders in the school and preparing youth with relevant skills as per the need of the market.
At the same time, Delhi Deputy CM Sisodia also thanked the Education Minister on Twitter for the meeting. Sisodia tweeted, I am grateful to Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan for his valuable time. I presented him my book Shiksha on Delhi education reforms. We all need committed governance to work on quality education. I am sure that through such discussions, the new National Education Policy will also be implemented effectively.
It is worth noting that recently, where Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan organized a review meeting to promote digital education innovations. At the same time, Delhi’s Education Manish Sisodia has announced to do away with the mandatory requirement of TC i.e. transfer certificate by changing the admission rules in government schools of Delhi. This will increase the enrollment of children in government schools.
