Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Dinesh Sharma has instructed to constitute a committee of various departments along with academics to discuss the National Education Policy at the district level. Instructing to celebrate 21 February as International Mother Language Day, he said that language related programs should be organized on this occasion. The Deputy Chief Minister was speaking at a meeting of the task force constituted in the Legislature on Thursday for the implementation of the National Education Policy.
He said that under the National Education Policy-2020, coordination between basic and secondary education will be established for Composite School. A MOU was also signed at the task force meeting. The Deputy Chief Minister said that the research being done by the universities from the MOU will be useful for the industrial sector. Students will also get an opportunity to work in industries and know their problems.
