Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has said that under the new education policy in the state, vocational education is being arranged from class VI. Quality education is necessary for the creation of self-sufficient Madhya Pradesh. Chauhan was addressing the students of all the schools in the state associated with the state level virtual program under the Integrated Scholarship Scheme. In this program organized in the Ministry, more than 326 crore 25 lakhs were transferred by the Chief Minister to single-click account of more than 13 lakh 80 thousand students from class 9 to 12. Minister of Tribal Affairs and Scheduled Castes Welfare Meena Singh, Minister of State for School Education Inder Singh Parmar, Minister of State for Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare Ramkhelavan Patel were present in the program.
The Chief Minister said that CM Rise Schools will be started in a radius of 20 to 25 kilometers in the state, in which adequate number of teachers, labs, libraries, sports grounds will be provided. Buses will also be arranged to transport students from the surrounding areas.
Chauhan said that the rites of knowledge, skill and citizenship are the objectives of education. We benefit from this knowledge tradition accumulated over generations. Skill makes us capable of managing livelihood and the values of honesty, diligence, duty loyalty, character strength and patriotism are developed by the rites of citizenship. He told the students that hard work is necessary for success by setting a goal. Be full of enthusiasm in the exam but do not stress.
The Chief Minister appreciated the efforts made by the teachers in the difficult circumstances of the Corona period to overcome the academic difficulties of the students continuously through the online process. Under the Integrated Scholarship Scheme, amount of 326 crore 25 lakh of 27 types of scholarships of five departments were transferred through single click to the account of more than 13 lakh 80 thousand students.
In this, 1 lakh 30 thousand 628 students of School Education Department, 4 lakh 78 thousand 825 of Scheduled Castes Welfare Department, 4 lakh 32 thousand 484 of Tribal Affairs Department, 2 thousand 896 of Vimukt, Ghumkad and Ardhghumkad Tribal Welfare Department and Backward Classes and Minorities Under the welfare department, the scholarship amount was transferred to the account of 3 lakh 35 thousand 413 students.
Chauhan also interacted with the students attending the state level virtual program. Kumari Reena of Peepal Kota village in Jhabua said that she wants to do social service by becoming a doctor. When asked about the experiences of Corona era by the Chief Minister, Omprakash of Katni said that he wants to join the army by preparing for NDA. Kumari Kareena of Balaghat, stating her determination to achieve the goal through Sanskrit shloka, said that through hard work, actions are proved, not merely by desire.
The Chief Minister told Kumari Kareena that if you want to come in the first line then you will have to work hard. The Chief Minister also spoke to Akash Shivhare of Shivpuri, Ajurn Munda of Damoh and Sanjana Gond. Principal Secretary School Education Rashmi Arun Shami, Principal Secretary Tribal Affairs and Scheduled Tribes Welfare Pallavi Jain Govil and Commissioner Public Education Jayashree Kiyawat were present in the program.
