Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) activists created a ruckus in DP Vip PG College on Wednesday. Angry activists opposed the management for the recovery of public participation fee of Rs 1000 instead of 500. Principal Dr. Anju Shukla demanded that he immediately stop it and give relief. Meanwhile, there was a fierce commotion in the room.
A large number of activists, including ABVP state-cum-minister Pratiksha Pandey, metropolitan ministers Ayush Tiwari, Srajan Pandey, Yogadatta Verma, Raunak Kesari arrived at the college. Shouting slogans, the principal entered directly into the room. There was uproar over public participation fees. Suddenly the blessing panel workers also came.
The dispute between the two sides increased. Workers got down on pushing. The professors calmed the atmosphere by doing so. After this, the ABVP activists, while speaking, demanded immediate relief to the principal. On which Principal Dr. Shukla assured to place a demand before the committee and decide in the interest of students.
A day-long activist conference and student Kisan Samman Yatra were organized in Ratanpur by the National Students Organization of India (NSUI). District President Tanmeet Chhabra, State Secretary Lucky Mishra while addressing the students appealed the students to stand with the farmer. On the occasion, Block Congress President Ramesh Surya, Neeraj Jaiswal, Balakrishna Mishra, Sudhir Dubey, Substitute Dubey, Akash Yadav, Abhinav Tiwari, Rahul Diwakar, Dilshad, Lumbodar Kashyap of Youth Congress addressed the event.
