Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology and Science (SGSITS), the state’s largest autonomous engineering institute, is winning the job of students. Institute records show that from 2014 to 2020, more than 4800 students have been successful in getting jobs. Every year, more than 80 percent of the students of the institute are getting its benefits.

Due to good level of education in the institute, students are getting better job opportunities every year. Due to the availability of all types of labs and research tools in the institute, the trust of companies also remains high.

The reason behind the 80 percent students getting jobs in the institute is also being told that many former students of the institute are currently sitting in CEO and other high positions of many renowned companies of the country and the world. In this case, students of the institute give priority. Those students who are not selected through the campus placement process, those students are also successful in getting the former students jobs. Many engineering, IT, automobile, electronics and other fields companies are allowed to do internships while doing engineering only. In such a situation, the company offers the job if the student likes it.

In 2013-14, 502 students of the institute were employed in 37 companies.
In 2014-15, 864 students were selected by 45 companies.
In 2015-16, 35 companies were offered jobs to 1025 students.
In 2016-17, 573 students were taken to 53 companies.
In 2017-18, 56 companies employed 404 students.
-2018-19 more than 800 students got jobs.
In the year 2019-20, companies selected around 700 students.
