The government has issued instructions to verify the educational records of teachers, teachers, part-time instructors working in council schools. Action will be taken if fake marksheets and certificates are found in the verification.
State Project Director Vijay Kiran Anand has issued instructions to the District Basic Education Officers. It said that in relation to irregular, rule-of-law and fake appointments made in the council schools of the district, based on the prescribed term of references, the action should be made available to the government. Necessary instructions have been sought in connection with the verification of records, postal expenses etc.
He said that the teachers whose records are found prima facie suspicious in the order of the mandates, should be sent soon. For offline verification of educational records such as marksheet and certificate of newly appointed teachers, education teachers and part-time teachers, the fee, postage, stationery etc. prescribed by the university and institute can be paid from the prescribed contingency item of DPO. Up to 50 thousand rupees can be spent at each block level. The expenditure incurred in their verification will be done through the PFMS system itself.
