Raj Bhavan has issued an important directive to all the universities in the state. Under which, now a draft related to any regulation or rule made in the University will have to be sent to the State Higher Education Council. The council, after conducting a thorough investigation in this regard, will process it from the state government or the Raj Bhavan for approval. Under the old system, the university used to send its draft directly to the Raj Bhavan, but this time the Raj Bhavan has decided the new system.
A meeting was also held on 21 October. Raj Bhavan Principal Secretary RL Chongthu has also issued a directive in this regard. It has been said in the directive that the proposal of regulation pending with the new in the university has to be sent to the State Higher Education Council. After examining the proposal, it will be sent to the state government or other means for final approval.
