This was stated by Minister of State for School Education Inder Singh Parmar during a discussion with reporters on Thursday. He said that cases of corona are increasing continuously in the state. It will be decided to open secondary classes on the same basis, but primary classes will not be opened yet.
The minister said that it is the first priority to conduct MP Board 10th and 12th examinations right now. Guidelines for schools have been released, 10th and 12th board examination will be offline only. He said that it is a question of the future of children. However, private schools are allowed to conduct exams both online and offline. They can make decisions by following their convenience and guidelines.
Private schools will not be able to collect arbitrary fees
Minister Parmar said that till now there was no law to curb private schools. Now, according to the new provision, schools will not be able to charge arbitrary fees. If a school wants to increase fees, it must first get permission from the government. There is a clear instruction in the Fee Act also regarding syllabus. Syllabus cannot be changed for three years.
National seminar on implementation of national education policy from today
A two-day national seminar is being organized from Friday to deliberate towards the implementation of the National Education Policy. The minister said that the new education policy will give a boost to regional languages. The seminar will be attended by Vice-Chancellors of Universities, Educationists, Education Activists and Policy-makers from all over the country. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan will inaugurate the seminar at 10:30 am on Friday. The chief guest of the closing ceremony will be Dattatreya Hosabale, co-steward of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. At the same time, Vineet Joshi, President of National Council of Teacher Education, will be the guest of this program.
