Dr. Amar Singh, newly appointed Principal of Jamshedpur Co-operative College, shared his experiences in the introduction program with the teachers and non-teaching staff of the institute through a virtual meet on Sunday. In his address, the principal elaborated on many problems and challenges of the college.
He urged the teachers and non-teaching staff that everyone should come forward, so that with the cooperation of everyone, the glimpse and change of development in the college starts in months, not in years. Dr. Singh said that the patriarch and the registrar who have shown their trust in them, they will try to live up to it. The college library will be made hi-tech. It will be made modern, automated and resourceful after inspecting it with the Library Committee. Referring to the security of the campus and its resources in the college, it will request the university to immediately appoint adequate security guards and adequate cleaners for cleanliness, while mentioning its priorities. The request letter for this will be dispatched the very next week.
Along with new books in the library, a hi-tech reading room of the students will be arranged. Meeting the various departments of NAC and assess their needs,
Will solve the problem on priority
The problem of any teacher and non-teaching staff will be solved on priority basis. Efforts will be made to restore CCTV, intercom and proper lighting in the entire campus and all buildings and rooms immediately. The Principal also discussed the excessive electricity bill payment and the land dispute of the premises and asked to resolve it in a meaningful dialogue with the officials of Tata Steel. The principal repeatedly emphasized that it should be the endeavor of all of us that the college once again shine like its golden past.
