According to departmental sources, Shailendra Joshi was working in a school in the inaccessible area of Nainital, among the two teachers who were transferred as research officer. The department did not take care of them

According to Bahukhandi, he is making rounds of the department for transfer since July 2020. For this, he has written to the Chief Minister, Education Minister, Chief Secretary as well as regional MLA Harak Singh Rawat. They say that if they cannot be transferred, then they should be attached to some school in Dehradun till they get treatment, but no one took care of them. Similarly, there are many such teachers who are in the schools of difficult areas for the last 20 years.
Officials are silent as the matter is related to the minister
Due to the issue of transfer of teachers being related to the Education Minister, the departmental officers have remained silent in the matter. Education Secretary R Meenakshi Sundaram says that the matter will be looked into. At the same time, even after efforts, the Education Minister could not be contacted in this matter.
