The fifth initiation ceremony of Tirthankar Mahaveer University will be held today. The Chief Guest of the initiation ceremony will be Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Dinesh Sharma, while Panchayati Raj Minister Ch. Bhupend Singh will be present as the special guest. In the ceremony, 7,935 students from 2018 to 2020 will be awarded degrees along with medals to the top three 450 students. There will be 153 gold, 149 silver, 148 bronze medals.
In the ceremony, 53 research scholars doing research from 2018 to 2021 will be given PhD awards. The preparations for TMU’s convocation were finalized on Friday. Chancellor Suresh Jain, Group Vice Chairman Manish Jain, MGB Akshat Jain, Registrar Dr. Aditya Sharma, Director Administration Abhishek Kapoor, Director Student Welfare Prof. MP Singh, SP City Amit Anand, SP Traffic Ashok Kumar Singh, CO Katghar Manish Yadav, CO Thakurdwara Dr. Anoop Singh took stock of the arrangements in the university. Former Visitor Arvind Goyal, City MLA Ritesh Kumar Gupta, Khadi Village Industries Vice President Gopal Anjan, Mayor Vinod Agarwal, Kanth MLA Rajesh Kumar Chunnu, MLC Dr. Jaipal Singh Busy, Dr. Vishesh Gupta, MLC Hari Singh Dhillon, Former MP Kunwar Sarvesh Kumar Singh and other dignitaries will be present.
