Central Board of Secondary Education has notified the scheme of half yearly examination with various online-offline options for the session 2021-22. The examinations will be conducted at the end of each session for half the syllabus. The first session examinations of one and a half hour duration will be conducted during November-December 2021 in schools with only multiple choice questions developed by CBSE and in the presence of external observers appointed by CBSE.
The second session examinations will be held during March-April 2022 at external centers. It will have descriptive questions. The final result will be released on the basis of performance in two sessions. If the second session is not possible, the result will be declared on the basis of one session only and if both the sessions are not possible, then on the basis of internal examinations.
