According to NS Bankoti, Deputy Director in the Directorate of Higher Education, 105 degree colleges in the state will have examinations from the first week of September, which includes the third and sixth semesters of graduation as well as the fourth semester of post graduation. Apart from these, the admission process of students promoted in different classes will start, in view of which instructions have been given for corona vaccination. It will be necessary for all students and college teaching and non-teaching staff to get the vaccine. To ensure this, colleges will have to coordinate with the health department and organize vaccination camps.
Online studies going on now
At present, in view of Corona, online studies are being done in all colleges i.e. students are attending classes sitting at home through mobile phones or laptops. However, it has become necessary for teachers to come to the college. On the other hand, the University Grants Commission has asked to open colleges and students to start their studies from October and has fixed the date of examinations in September, the preparation for which has already started. Different universities are preparing the schedule of admission and examinations according to the instructions of the UGC.
