Amidst the increasing cases of Corona, the schedule of admission in colleges and starting classes has been changed. Director Higher Education Dr. Amarjeet Sharma has issued a notification and issued instructions to all the college principals. As per the revised 1st year schedule, time has been given till 31st August to complete the 1st year admission process.
After being promoted in colleges, classes of second and third year students will be started from the predetermined August 16, but in view of the risk of infection and keeping in mind the safety of the students, it will be started online.
According to the schedule issued for admission in the first year, the time for filling the online admission form has been given till August 24. On August 25 and 26, the colleges will be able to release the first merit list. Whereas from August 27 to 31, the students taking admission have been given time to deposit the prescribed fees. The process of admission of students on roll-on basis will have to be completed by August 16. Online classes will have to start from August 16. The classes are to be conducted online till further orders.
Online applications will be submitted till 24 in Sanjauli College
The revised first year admission schedule issued by the Education Department for admission to undergraduate degree courses will also be implemented in Sanjauli College, the only Center of Excellence in the state. Accordingly, online applications will be accepted till August 24. Earlier the last date was fixed on 14th August and the merit was to be released on 17th. According to the newly released schedule, the college will issue the first admission merit on August 25 after the applications are accepted till 24.
Students will now be able to submit project reports by August 31
Due to Kovid-19, some students were not able to submit the Assignment, Project Report, Field Work Journal and Internship Report for the Term End Examination June 2021 on time. IGNOU has provided a special opportunity to the students to submit their assignments, project reports. Students can submit their report by 31st August.
Apart from this, the process of admission and re-registration in various programs is also going on in IGNOU for the academic session July 2021.
