Madhya Pradesh Higher Education Minister Mohan Yadav held a press conference regarding the new education policy. During this press conference, he informed that 177 diploma and 282 certificate courses are also being started. Along with this, under the new education policy, students will also get a chance to choose optional subjects. New education policy will be implemented in the state this year.
To make education employable, professional level diplomas will be started, so that students can get employment. The Higher Education Minister said that GER (Gross Enrollment Ratio) has increased in Madhya Pradesh in the last 5 years. He said that the GER has increased by more than four and a half percent in MP and this year the effort of the Madhya Pradesh government is to surpass the national average of 27 percent.
Explain that the GER is the ratio of the population of the eligible age limit to the enrollment in higher education. It can be said that out of 100 youth of the age of pursuing higher education in the country, 27 have enrolled themselves in an institution for higher education.
Higher Education Minister Mohan Yadav said about the new education policy that the seats in government and private colleges have been increased by 25 percent. Study centers of Madhya Pradesh Open University will be opened in 134 government colleges for the youth and girls who are not able to study in universities as regular students. Under this process, students sitting in the village will also be able to take the exam.
The Higher Education Minister praised the new education policy and said that it is for every section. Those people whose age of education has passed and they want to study, then they can also take admission under the new education policy. To increase the level of education, all government and private colleges will adopt at least one village. In this way, about 1500 villages will be adopted in the state. This will increase the admission of students in higher education. The government will also conduct a survey for this.
