The Admission and Fee Regulatory Committee Bhopal has taken a big decision in the interest of students. According to this, now the average fees of any private college will not be fixed. Colleges will have to apply within the stipulated time and report certain expenses. Only after that their fees will be fixed. Till now, colleges used to get involved in the process and decide the fees. Due to which the students had to pay far more fees than the facilities present in the college.
The Admission and Fee Regulatory Committee is now going to start the process of fixing fees for the next session 2021-22. But from this session, the average fees of any college, of any course, will not be decided. In such a situation, every college will have to show the full account in time, so that the actual fees can be fixed.
The fact was coming in front of the fees committee that private colleges apply to fix the fees at the last minute. In this case, their fees are fixed on average so that they can join the admission process. At the same time, students seeking admission in them should not be inconvenienced in getting scholarships from various departments. AFRC Chairman Prof. RR Kanhere says that this time the average fees will not be fixed considering the fees of any college.
Colleges will have to apply within the stipulated time. After this, the committee will determine the fees only after thoroughly examining the full details of its income expenditure.
The committee works only for the interests of the students. In such a situation, the committee cannot do injustice to any student. Many colleges used to get fixed fees more than the actual fees due to the average fees. But now average fees will not be given to colleges.
