With the announcement of the UP Board High School and Intermediate exam schedule starting on 24th April, preparations have been speeded up at the district level. 137 centers have been proposed for UP board examination in the district, where 76421 candidates of high school and intermediate will appear. There will be 41589 high school candidates and 34832 intermediate candidates.
Among the schools that have been made examination centers, there are eight state, 28 aided and 101 financially accredited Inter Colleges. Explain that 30 examination centers have been built more this year than the board examination held last year, while the number of examinees has increased only 1044. In the year 2020, 75377 candidates were accommodated in 107 examination centers. Out of these, 41447 candidates had appeared for class X and 33930 had appeared for class 12th examination. According to departmental sources, this year, the number of candidates at all the centers was limited in view of the Corona Guideline and hence the number of examination centers has increased more than the increased candidates. 87 objections have been received from the principals of secondary educational institutions regarding the fixation of the centers, which have been sent by the District School Inspector to DM Indra Vikram Singh for disposal.
Objection to girls’ center being out of town
In the list of proposed examination centers released from the District School Inspector Office, more objections have been received when the students studying in the city schools are set up in the nearby rural areas including Roja. For example, preparations were made to send the students of the schools of Satwan Khurd on Nigohi Road, Basulia and Niamatpur on Mohammadi Road to OCF Inter College and the tenth students studying in Sri Gurunanak Pathshala Girls High School to remote centers of Roja including Swami Dharmanand Inter College is. According to the Principal of Gurunanak School, Harmeet Kaur, last year the center of their schoolgirls was set up in the nearby schools of the city. The principals of many other schools also believe that the girls and their parents will be in a lot of inconvenience due to the examination center being built away.
All the school-colleges were closed from March 20 last year, with the students declaring lock down due to Tejon ‘s preparation of incomplete courses due to Corona crisis. Later online classes were started from May, but studies in subjects related to science and commerce were affected. With the announcement of the UP Board’s annual examination schedule on Thursday, the students have shifted their focus to the subjects whose course has not been completed yet. The same fact emerged in the conversation with students preparing for board exams.
Also studied when school was closed in lockdown for board examination. After starting online classes, the school started coming soon. About 30 percent of the courses are yet to be studied.

Junior classes not increasing in junior classes The junior classes
from six to eight have started to be started, but for many reasons the number of children is not increasing in them. Not all children know what day they have to go to school. Thursday is the sixth day of classes, but today all the children of seventh grade reached Shri Gurunanak Pathshala Girls High School. According to the Principal, most children did not even bring consent letters from their parents. So they were sent home. Today only 11 children of class six arrived in the same school, while according to manager Gurprakash Singh, 118 children have been registered in various sections of this class. He says that the day-wise roster of various classes has been posted near the notice board and in the next few days, the number of students in the classes will start increasing.
According to the government’s guide line to prevent corona infection this year, efforts are being made to follow the social distance between the candidates at the examination centers. That is why the number of examination centers has increased. According to the standard of governance, the examination centers for girls have been set within a maximum radius of five km. The number of children in junior classes is also increasing gradually. – Shaukeen Singh Yadav, District School Inspector / In-charge District Basic Education Officer
