Holidays have thrown a hole in preparing the course by conducting Board of Studies (BOS) for National Education Policy (NEP) by 10 May. By May 15, the university campus and college will not be BOS due to the complete closure. If the conditions become normal after May 16, then the university will prepare the course according to the NEP, providing the BOS by May 25-26. The university has to take 70 per cent syllabus from the syllabus formulated at the state level while 30 per cent is to be added according to the local needs.
To be implemented from July, NEP
University is preparing to implement NEP from July 2021 in BA, B.Com, B.Sc. In this sequence, the university has asked colleges to update the record of seats by subject. This time students have to choose elective subjects along with core subjects. In such a situation, colleges will have to work hard in allocating courses. Counseling will also have to be done to motivate students to choose from elective courses according to their interest. A cluster of colleges is also to be formed for teaching elective subjects in nine districts.
