There are total eight schools in Nyayadhani. Swami Atmanand Excellent English Medium Schools Tarbarhar, Kharparganj, Mangalwa and Lingiyadih. All of them have 40-40 seats. Whereas in rural areas, admission has started for the first time in Chakarbhatha, Kanya Shala Masturi, DKP Kota and Takhatpur.
There are 80-80 seats in Chakarbhatha and Masturi for Class I. In the academic session 2021-22, a total of 10 thousand 933 applications have been submitted for admission from class one to class 12. While 3105 applications have been submitted for class one. There has to be a lottery for this. Parents are waiting for the admission list from June 15.
It was believed that the list would be released by June 20. It got delayed due to delay in the process of scrutiny and new guidelines of the government. At the same time, foster committees are also being formed in schools. This process will also be completed by Thursday evening or Friday. After that the lottery will be drawn. The list of the children who will be selected will be pasted on the notice board of the school.
Priority to orphans in Corona
According to the new guidelines of the government, the children orphaned in Corona will get priority in admission first. After this, BPL card holders, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes girls will be given admission. After this the number of boys will come. Finally, APL and general category students will be given admission.
No seat increase
Even though record applications have been submitted for admission, the chances of seat increase in any school in the city are slim. According to the officials, the admission process is to be completed as per the setup. If there is an increase in the seats, then the teachers and staff will have to be recruited again. At present, the government is not in a mood to increase the seats. There are 400 seats in eight schools in the district.
